The buying rate of the US dollar was 361.72 rupees and the selling rate was 374.99 rupees according to the daily exchange rate released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka today (06).
This is the first time in the history of the country that the rupee has depreciated to such an extent against the US dollar.
