Colombo: India and Japan agree to help to Sri Lanka
India and Japan have agreed to work together to provide assistance in the face of the crisis facing Sri Lanka.
According to foreign media reports, the agreement was reached during a meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo.
The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Indo-Japanese leaders exchanged views on global and regional developments and discussed the Sri Lankan economic crisis as well as the humanitarian situation at the Quad Summit in Tokyo.
