Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is scheduled to make a special statement to his party members shortly, sources from the Prime Minister’s Office said.
A large number of former Provincial Councilors, Ministers and Local Government Representatives are currently visiting Temple Trees, the official residence of the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to address the gathering and make that statement.
