Saudi Arabia plants 100 million saplings
It is reported that Saudi Arabia has started a program to plant 100 million saplings by 2030.
Relevant planting program has been launched in Neom, a city in northwestern Saudi Arabia.
Under the program to make Neom a green city, 100 million native trees, shrubs and grasses will be planted.
The program is being implemented in conjunction with the National Center for Vegetation and Desertification, covering at least 1.5 million hectares, according to the Saudi News Agency.
