That was by winning the final against Pakistan by 5 wickets.
Batting first in the match held in Melbourne, Australia, Pakistan scored 137 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Captain Babar Azam scored 32 runs and Shan Masood, who was the highest scorer of the innings, scored 38 runs from 28 balls.
Shadab Khan scored 20 runs and all 6 Pakistani batsmen were dismissed for low scores and Sam Karan took 3 wickets in a superb bowling.
The England team started the innings with a winning target of 138 runs.
Skipper Jos Buttler scored 26 runs and Ben Stokes scored 52 runs off 49 balls to become the highest scorer in the innings.
England won the match after losing only 5 wickets after 19 overs.
In 2010, England also won the T20 World Cup, and according to that, it is also special that England has become the champions of both the ODI and T20 divisions.
England’s Sam Curran won the man of the match award for this year’s T20 World Cup.
Sri Lanka’s Vanindu Hasaranga became the highest wicket-taker in the tournament.
Wanindu took 15 wickets in 8 matches.
