Great win for Pakistan
Today (20), Pakistan managed to record a 4-wicket victory in the first Test cricket match against the Sri Lankan team at the Galle International Stadium.
For the first innings of the match, the Sri Lankan team managed to collect 222 runs and in reply, the Pakistan team collected 218 runs in the first innings.
The Sri Lanka team scored 337 runs for their second innings, giving the visiting Pakistan team a target of 342 runs to win.
Abdullah Shafiq, who played a successful batting for the Pakistan team, scored an unbeaten 160 runs in 408 balls.
Babar Azam scored 55 runs while playing a leadership innings.
Prabhat Jayasuriya took 4 wickets in the second innings for the Sri Lankan team.
At the end of the match, Pakistan scored 344 runs with the loss of 6 wickets.
Pakistan opener Abdullah Shafiq was awarded as the man of the match.
The second and final Test match between the two countries is scheduled to be played in Galle on the 24th.
