Sri Lanka won by 79 runs against United Arab Emirates
Yesterday (18) Sri Lanka won the match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 79 runs in the Twenty20 World Cup cricket tournament.
The Sri Lankan team, who entered the field to bat first in the match, scored 152 runs by losing 8 wickets at the end of the scheduled 20 overs.
Opener Pathum Nissanka, who played a quick innings, scored 74 runs off 60 balls.
Dhananjaya de Silva scored 33 points.
Spinner Karthik Meiyappan took three wickets.
Bhanuka Rajapakse, Charith Sasanka and Dasun Shanaka got wickets.
