West Indies eliminated in the first round of the T20 World Cup
The West Indies team had to leave the tournament today (21) without qualifying for the Super 12 round of this year’s T20 World Cup cricket tournament.
Due to losing by 9 wickets in the match against Ireland, the West Indian team did not qualify for the Super 12 round of this year’s World Cup.
After winning the toss and batting first, the West Indies managed to score 146 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.
Ireland, who played the reply innings, passed the winning target after losing only one wicket at the end of 17.3 overs.
