The umpires today (24) decided to abandon the match between Zimbabwe and South Africa in the 2020 World Cup cricket tournament without a decision.

That is because the match was interrupted by continuous rain.

The start of the match was also delayed for several hours due to rain.

Chasing a target of 64 runs, South Africa were unbeaten on 51 runs when the match was temporarily stopped due to rain.

The Zimbabwean team batted first in the match which was limited to 9 overs due to rain and managed to score 79 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Zimbabwe’s first 4 wickets fell in 19 runs.

Captain Craig Irwin was out for 2 runs.

Sikandar Raza could not score.

Shaun Williams was run out and by that time he had collected one run.

Milton Shumba scored 18 points.

Wesley Madhavere, who was the top scorer of the innings, managed to collect 35 runs without losing.
