NASA says a giant asteroid 1,608 feet wide will pass close to Earth, and if it changes its trajectory by even a tenth, it will crash into Earth.
However, NASA has pointed out that there is no chance of the asteroid hitting the Earth. Astronomers have named this asteroid 388945. The asteroid will travel 2.5 million miles from Earth near the Moon and Earth. The asteroid had previously passed close to Earth in May 2020 as well.
NASA scientists have calculated that 388945 asteroids will pass close to Earth in 2024 and then in 2163.
