2500 seals dead
The bodies of 2,500 seals have been found on a Russian beach facing the Caspian Sea.
According to foreign media, this is the first time that a large number of seals have died in one pack.
The cause of death of these seals has not yet been revealed.
Russian media reported that only 700 seals died.
However, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has put the number of dead seals at more than 2,500.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature has explained that these seals are considered to be the only mammals living in the Caspian Sea.
