56 people died in an earthquake in Indonesia
Foreign media reports that 56 people have died in an earthquake that occurred on the island of Java in Indonesia.
It is also said that around 700 people have been injured in this earthquake which measured 5.6 on the Richter scale.
It is suspected that more people are trapped under the collapsed buildings and the relief teams are carrying out further operations to rescue them.
Foreign media reports further state that the area where the earthquake occurred is densely populated and prone to landslides and poorly constructed houses.
