A bomb explodes in an Afghan school
15 people lost their lives when the bomb exploded in a religious school (madrasa) in the province of Samangan, Afghanistan. The number of injured and hospitalized is 20.
Hospital sources said that most of the dead and injured were school students. The bomb exploded in the school in the capital city of Aibak, Samangan province. It was around 12.45 in the afternoon.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the bombing. It is the Afghan IS that opposes the Taliban. The Afghan Taliban government has said that it may have been a bomb attack by militants.
