A mysterious disease in North Korea
At least 800 families in North Korea are suffering from an undiagnosed stomach ailment, foreign media reported.
South Korean officials say the disease, which North Korean officials say has not been identified, could be cholera or typhoid fever.
KCNA reports that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and the authorities are working to provide medicine, food and other daily necessities for the families of those diagnosed with the unidentified stomach ailment.
North Korean authorities say North Korea is facing a “severe intestinal epidemic” while suffering from Covid disease.
