A supporter of former Prime Minister Imran was arrested
Shebaz Gill, a close supporter of Pakistan’s ousted former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has been arrested by the police.
After Imran Khan was ousted from office, a new government was formed in Pakistan by joining the opposition political groups. Shehbaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League, became the prime minister.
Police have arrested Shebaz Gill on charges of inciting people against the new government of Pakistan. Shebaz Gill has been making statements against government institutions in the past.
Shebaz Gill was reportedly picked up in a car with no number plates. During an inquiry by the media, it was learned that he is in police custody.
