Abducted Pakistani minister freed

The Pakistani state minister kidnapped by terrorists was freed. The abduction of that minister named Abdul Ullah Baig took place last Friday (7). The media has reported that the terrorists worked to release the minister yesterday (8).

The abducted was the Minister of Prison Affairs of Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan state. It is said that the minister was traveling from the capital Islamabad to Babuzar city when he was abducted.

Abdul Hameed, the leader of the terrorist group that kidnapped the minister, urged the Gilgit Baltistan state government to release Abdul Ullah Baig, and said that several terrorist members who are in custody should be released.

The release of the minister was based on an agreement reached after long discussions with the terrorist members. Not only the state government of Gilgit-Baltistan, but also the central government of Pakistan were involved in the talks.
