At least 50 people have been dead in a terrorist attack in Nigeria
The death toll from a terrorist attack on St. Francis Catholic Church in the southwestern Nigerian city of Owo has risen to 50.
The attack struck shortly after noon in front of a church. The dead included women and children, security sources said.
Nigerians say gunmen continued to shoot at worshipers inside and outside the church
Ondo police spokesman Fanmilao Ibukun said Nigerian authorities had not yet identified the gunmen or the motive for the shooting.
