Biden to South Korea

US President Joe Biden has arrived in South Korea on a state visit to Asia. The main purpose of the visit is to meet with new Korean President Eun Suu Kyi to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss threats from North Korea and China.

In addition, the two heads of state will also focus on the Russian-Ukrainian war, which has had a global impact. South Korea is a pro-American state and has even established US military bases in South Korea.

Following his visit to South Korea, Biden is scheduled to travel to Japan. Meanwhile, Biden will also attend the Quad Group Summit, which will be attended by member states India, Australia, Japan and the United States, according to a White House statement.
