Committed to combating climate change
New British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has said that the British government, led by him, is committed to combating climate change, and has decided to give 1.6 billion pounds to the foundation established for combating climate change.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said this while participating in the ‘COP 27’ climate change conference in Egypt’s Red Sea resort of Sham El Sheikh.
This is considered as an important decision taken by Rishi Sunak as the Prime Minister at the global level. This is considered to be the first international conference that Rishi Sunak will participate in after becoming the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also had the opportunity to meet the foreign leaders who participated in the conference.
