EU agrees to grant membership to Ukraine
The 27 member states of the European Union have agreed to make Ukraine a member of the European Union.
A few days ago, the government led by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky formally requested the EU to join the European Union.
That was when French President Macron, German Chancellor Olaf and Italian Prime Minister Mario Dargi visited Ukraine and met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Regarding Ukraine’s application for membership, EU member states met in Brussels, Belgium, and all members unanimously agreed to grant membership to Ukraine.
Despite the willingness to grant membership, the membership process is said to be a lengthy process that can take years.
