Havana : Heavy rains in Cuba
The Cuban capital, Havana, has been hit by heavy rains and several parts of the city have been inundated, according to media reports.
The heavy rains in the capital Havana began with the impact of Hurricane Agatha.
Two people have been dead in flash floods and lightning strikes. More than 2,000 people have been displaced by the floods. As of yesterday (4), 50,000 people were without electricity.
The Cuban Meteorological Department announced that showers were reported in some areamore than 20 cm. . It is said that heavy rains have been falling continuously for the past 24 hours.
Hurricane Agatha made landfall in Cuba, passing through Mexico. Nine people have been dead in a typhoon in Mexico.
