Heavy rains in Nigeria after 10 years
After 10 years, the African country Nigeria is facing the worst flood risk, according to foreign media.
According to the Nigerian media, 27 of the country’s 36 states have been completely flooded.
It is also said that more than 90,000 houses have been inundated due to the risk of flooding due to continuous heavy rains over the past few days. The death toll is over 500, according to a statement issued by the Nigerian government.
The announcement issued by the Nigerian government has further stated that about 1.4 million Nigerians have been displaced due to the floods and more than 100,000 people have been affected.
