Beijing : Hong Kong leader went to meet Chinese president
A meeting was held between the new leader of Hong Kong John Lee and the Chinese President Xi Jinping. That was when the new leader of Hong Kong left for Beijing, China.
Hong Kong, a Chinese colony, was formerly a British colony. Now it is back in China, and the Hong Kong Governing Council is made up of pro-Chinese.
John Lee is a Hong Kong police officer as well as the head of the Hong Kong Security Forces. John Lee is said to be a staunch supporter of China. When he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chinese President Xi Jinping promised him Chinese support.
