India, Vietnam signed defense agreement

India, Vietnam signed defense agreement

India and Vietnam recently signed a new defense agreement.

The agreement is aimed at further expanding and strengthening bilateral security ties between the two countries by 2030.

The new agreement also covers the use of each other’s bases for maintenance, support, maintenance, refueling and supply of service facilities between the two armies.
Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited Vietnam last week and signed the agreement.

The agreement was signed following extensive and successful discussions between the Indian Minister of Defense and the Minister of Defense of Vietnam, General Fan Wan Jeong

The two Defense Ministers also discussed China’s aggressive and expanding (occupation) behavior in the Indo – Pacific region.
