Indian delegation meets Taliban
A meeting between an Indian government delegation and an Afghan Taliban government delegation is being held in the capital Kabul.
The Indian delegation met the Taliban after August. Following the withdrawal of US troops, the Taliban seized control of Afghanistan and formed a government last August.
The Indian government is keen to provide much-needed humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people, and the Indian delegation is expected to hold talks in this regard.
