International observers are coming to see the Ukrainian nuclear power plant
In Ukraine, a delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency came to observe the “Zaporissaya” power plant, which is under the control of Russian forces.
Saporissaya is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. Currently, this plant is under the control of the Russian forces who are invading Ukraine. There have been armed conflicts in the past in connection with the plant. Ukrainian forces are trying to retake the plant.
If there is damage to the plant and a radiation leak, it is likely to have negative effects not only on Ukraine, Russia, but also on the entire European region.
In this regard, the attention of the United Nations has been drawn, and a group of representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency visited the plant according to an agreement reached between Russia and Ukraine.
