Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Europe, received a warm welcome from Danish Prime Minister Matteo Frederickson during his visit to Copenhagen, Denmark.
After strengthening bilateral ties, Modi and Mate Fredriksen also discussed the Russian-Ukrainian crisis. A joint press conference followed.
After meeting the Danish Prime Minister, Prime Minister Modi accompanied her on a visit to Denmark’s Queen Margaret and members of the royal family. Members of the royal family at the Amalienbog Palace hosted a special banquet for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Today’s India-Nodik summit will be chaired by Prime Minister Modi. The Nordic countries Sweden, Ireland, Norway, Finland and Iceland will join the summit.
The first Indo-Nordic conference was held in 2018. The second conference will be held today (4).
