Toronto : New rules on firearms in Canada
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to introduce new firearms laws.
The Prime Minister of Canada has decided to introduce these new laws in view of the recent inhuman shooting incident at a primary school in the neighboring state of Texas.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has suggested that the sale and purchase of all pistols in Canada should be banned. In addition, the Prime Minister has proposed suspending the private ownership of all short-barreled firearms.
A new draft firearms law has been introduced in the Canadian Parliament.
Although private ownership of pistols cannot be banned altogether, media reports indicate that as the new bill passes, new laws regarding the purchase of pistols will be introduced, making pistols so purchased illegal.
‘In Canada, there is no need to use firearms in everyday life except for hunting and shooting. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has told the media that new laws need to be introduced in this regard.
