New Zealand PM meets US President
The Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern, who is on a visit to the United States, arrived at the White House yesterday (31) and met with US President Joe Biden.
Earlier in the day, the New Zealand Prime Minister had told the media that she was meeting with US President Biden to further strengthen strong diplomatic ties between the United States and New Zealand.
Earlier, Arderns and US President Joe Biden had not only telephone conversations but also video chats via ‘zoom’ technology, but a face-to-face meeting between the two was a significant event, according to a statement from the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Office.
According to the American media, Prime Minister Jacenda and US President Biden held talks on the new Indo-Pacific trade agreement proposed by the United States, as well as the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
