North Korea’s Covid 19 restrictions relaxed
The North Korean government has decided to lift the restrictions imposed by the health sector on the North Korean capital, Yongyang, due to the spread of Covid 19.
The North Korean government made the decision because the health sector has been able to control the spread of Covid 19 not only in the capital, Yongyang, but across the country. However, South Korean media reports quoted reports from North Korea that the restrictions had been lifted only in the vicinity of the capital.
As the Covid 19 pandemic, which began in China, spread around the world, North Korea closed its borders. North Korea borders China, South Korea and Russia.
Isolated by Western sanctions over its nuclear weapons program, North Korea became isolated from the rest of the world with the closure of its borders and the closure of its borders. However, no cases of the virus were reported from North Korea until last April. In April, a flu epidemic spread across North Korea. It was later confirmed that the fever was ‘Covid 19 omicron’.
The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that there are 3,549,590 cases of Covid 19 in the country. The total death toll was 70. The number of people infected with the virus and cured was 3,360,990.
