Protests across France demanding higher wages
Along with the cost of living, strikes and protests are taking place across France to demand higher wages.
As transport workers, high school teachers, public hospital workers have joined strikes and protests, daily activities have been paralyzed in many major cities, including the capital of France, Paris, according to foreign media.
Inflation in France rose 6.2 percent. Economic analysts point out that inflation in France has risen like this after many decades. Inflation in France was also caused by the ‘Covid 19’ epidemic.
In addition, due to Russia’s military action against Ukraine, the country’s fuel and food prices have risen. Long queues are seen at petrol stations as petrol station workers and refinery workers have also joined the protests and strikes.
