Sarah Duterte Carpio, 44, daughter of former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, has been sworn in as the new Vice President of the Philippines.
Ferdinand Marcos Junior. alias ‘Bongbong’, who is about to be sworn in as the new President of the Philippines, also attended the swearing in ceremony of Rodrigo Duterte.
Bong Bong is the son of Ferdinand, the former dictator of the Philippines.
The term of office of the Vice President of the Philippines is 6 years. It is said that Sarah Duterte will officially take over the post of Vice President on the 30th.
The Philippines elects the President and the Vice President separately. In last May’s election, Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Sarah Duterte formed a strong coalition and won a landslide victory.
