Due to North Korea’s continued long-range missile tests and nuclear tests.
This year alone, North Korea has tested a number of intercontinental ballistic missiles. That’s a threat to neighboring South Korea and Japan.
The United States, a key permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, has called for new sanctions against North Korea. However, China will use its veto power to oppose the US decision.
