The president of Ukraine is angry
Foreign media reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was angry that the remaining 8 billion euros of the 9 billion euros promised to be given to Ukraine by the European Union had not yet been given.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said some EU leaders had to be reminded that pensioners, government workers, displaced people and other Ukrainians who depend on Ukraine’s budget should not be held hostage by their decision to stay with their country.
President Zelensky pointed out that the amount of 8 billion euros promised to be given as aid to Ukraine has been temporarily suspended and that this artificial delay is a mistake or a crime committed by the European Union.
Foreign media reported that the officials of the Ukrainian President’s Office stated that only Brussels, Belgium received 1 billion Euros as aid and some European countries including Germany are withholding the remaining 8 billion Euros promised to the European Union.
